Job description

We are currently hiring a Taproom Assistant Manager in Rehoboth Beach, DE. The Taproom Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Dogfish Head. They assist the General Manager in creating a world class Tap Room and dining experience by providing the team with superior beer education and hospitality training. They are also responsible for ensuring sound operations, which includes but is not limited to: proper staffing and scheduling, a solid understanding of COGS and inventory procedures, safety, and sales building. The AM will help to oversee the culture, craft, and creativity of the restaurant. What You’ll Brew: - Opens/Closes restaurant - weekend and weekday night shifts from 4pm-12pm - Ensures facilities are fully functioning on a daily basis; reporting issues requiring attention to General Manager while driving for ongoing improvements - Serving as point person on site for all Programming and Reservations, ensuring all performers, vendors, and reserved parties are given the resources and attention needed - Works closely with Brewing Operations on: receiving beer, dry goods, & cleaning liquids, maintaining and ordering proper beer inventory leve...
