Quality Technician

Job description

Position Overview: The Quality Technician is a hands-on inspection role focused on the parts and components that go into our machines — both during manufacturing and as spare and break-fix parts shipped to machines in the field. You'll be the last line of defense ensuring that nonconforming parts don't make it into a build or out to a customer site, and that known quality issues are actively screened before anything ships. Job Responsibilities: Incoming Parts Inspection: - Perform detailed incoming inspection of mechanical and electromechanical parts against engineering drawings, specifications, and purchase order requirements - Verify dimensions, material, finish, and workmanship using standard hand measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, and gauges - Identify and document nonconformances; initiate NCRs and work with procurement and suppliers to disposition discrepant material - Maintain accurate receiving inspection records and support supplier quality tracking Spare & Field Replacement Parts: - Inspect spare parts and break-fix components prior to shipment to field machines, ensuring they meet drawing requirements and are free of known defect conditions - Cross-refere...
