SUMMARY: Under general supervison, the Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for providing design support to the organization. This role provides support for design and implementation of new and improved product and process solutions. This position supports Motion's initiatives to improve profitability through improving Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity and Material Flow. Must be eligible to work in the US without Visa Sponsorship JOB DUTIES: Designs and implements equipment and tooling for production processes that will improve operational safety, quality, and efficiency. Oversees generation and maintenance of CAD drawings for tooling and equipment design. Provides support for design and development of new belting products. Creates and implements process standards and specifications, introducing appropriate manufacturing controls where possible to provide for consistent operations to these standards. Utilizes Lean Manufacturing tools to help advance operational Continuous Improvement throughout the organization.
