JOB SUMMARY: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for all short term and long-term repair and maintenance for the Scioto Downs campus. Areas of responsibility include the Track, Paddocks, Parking Areas and Casino buildings. HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY: - Preventative Maintenance & Repairs: Conducting regular inspections of facilities and equipment, repairing systems like HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical components. - Building Maintenance: Fixing, painting, or replacing walls, doors, windows, flooring, and lighting fixtures. - Equipment Upkeep: Servicing machinery, tools, and appliances to ensure optimal operation. - Safety & Compliance: Ensuring all work complies with safety regulations and building codes, including, at times, managing pest control or safety, such as for fire systems. - Documentation & Coordination: Maintaining maintenance logs, completing work orders, and coordinating with contractors or reporting to supervisors. - Winter Snow Removal: Using Snow Removal equipment to clean all parking areas around the property of snow.
