Production Manager - Construction

Wharton-Smith, Inc is currently seeking an experienced Production Manager for the Tampa/Southwest Florida area. In this role the successful candidate will support project teams in planning, coordinating, and executing work using the Wharton-Smith Production Management System (PMS). This role partners with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams to improve workflow, planning reliability, and continuous improvement across all phases of construction. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate pre-construction planning sessions and production strategies - Support trade workflow and sequencing (Parade of Trades) - Develop operational plans, work batches, and daily crew assignments - Assist with Weekly Work Plans, Look-Ahead Schedules, and production boards - Conduct Before Action and After Action Reviews - Analyze variances and identify root causes impacting production - Support project teams with on-site training and PMS implementation - Capture lessons learned and support continuous improvement initiatives - Train and mentor production staff and project teams Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field experience - 5–10 years...
