Job description

What you will do Johnson Controls is seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician! In this role, you will perform engineering support activities including hands on construction and testing for the development of new or modified components or products and troubleshoot electrical device problems to ensure that issues are resolved efficiently. This position is onsite at our Advanced Development and Engineering facility in New Freedom, PA. Candidates must be commuting distance to the facility. How you will do it: Under direction and guidance of supervisor and senior technicians, provide technical support to and communication among the Prototype Build and Test team to assist in efficient execution of building and testing Variable Speed Drives and associated test fixtures. Design fabricate or arrange for fabrication and testing of parts, components and sub-systems Collect and analyze data, e.g., test data, cost data Prepare complex and non-standard sketches and drawings and prepare design documents Review and mark drawings to support drafting and design documents Perform routine system and component calculations, selections and write specifications Coordinate between customers and other...
