Overview H.M. Providers, Inc. dba Community Hospitalist Physician Group in Fresno, CA is seeking a full-time hospitalist. In this role you will provide hospital-based inpatient medical services consistent with best practices, evidence-based medicine, the Joint Commission core measures, and appropriate resource utilization strategies. Provide professional consultative expertise in general internal medicine consistent with best practices, evidence-based medicine, the Joint Commission core measures, and appropriate resource utilization strategies. Participate in the daily multidisciplinary rounds with case management to review each inpatient's clinical, psychosocial, and disposition status. Diagnose, treat, and provide continuous care to hospital inpatients. Actively evaluate patients in the Emergency Department (ED) in a timely manner, and collaborate with the ED physicians to avoid unnecessary admissions, including prescribing medication and treatment regimens.
