Oracle Database Administrator

Job description

Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL) is seeking to hire an Oracle Database Administrator with knowledge and experience in the following: - General relational database management systems (RDBMS) of Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server - Database installation, configuration, administration, and patching. - Development, UAT and Production database administration (DBA) experience - Database security, database architecture and data analysis. - Work with development and operations teams on technical issues including system design and maintenance. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple, concurrent tasks. - Perform system testing and validation procedures. - Communicate regularly with technical peers and senior management. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. - Systems may consist of servers, desktops, storage devices, data center components, utility software, or equivalent infrastructure components. - Comply with team processes and practices for execution of assigned tasks. - Does not manage employees, but may mentor and/or train subordinates. - Initiates improvements for the function. - Arrives at conclusion base...
