Description 1 REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Reports to the Shipping and Receiving Team Leader. 2 PURPOSE: 2.1 Function 2.1.1 To efficiently operate material handling and production control equipment used in the quality manufacture of automobile directional control system components. 2.2 Authority 2.2.1 Associates have the authority conduct cycle counts as directed by the Shipping and Receiving Team Leader. 2.2.2 Associates have the authority to perform inventory control transactions as detailed under responsibilities. 2.2.3 Associates have the authority to document non-conforming material as required. 3 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 3.1 Operate production control equipment as assigned by supervision. 3.2 Perform cycle counts as required. 3.3 Perform inventory transactions such as: 3.4 Stock Receiving and Shipping Racks as required. 3.5 Perform pre-operation checks on equipment. 3.6 Maintain a clean and safe work environment. 3.7 Prepare written documentation as required. 3.8 All other duties as assigned. - Receipts - Scrap - Shippers - Inventory Transfers - ASN’s - Other transactions as assigned by supervision. 4 MEASUREMENTS/COMPETENCIES: 4.1 Quality of work performed. 4.2 Attendance rec...
