Job Title: Production Operative Day Reporting to: Production Supervisor: Salary: £24,784.50: Hours: 40 hours per week over 5 days a week, Monday to Sunday. Pay is based on 37.5 hours per week. Job Purpose: The Production Operative in the Sandwich Department is responsible for the preparation, assembly, and packing of sandwiches in line with company specifications, food safety standards, and production targets. The role requires a strong focus on quality, hygiene, safety, and teamwork within a fast-paced, chilled food production environment. Key Responsibilities: Production & Quality · Prepare, assemble, and pack sandwiches accurately according to company recipes, specifications, and portion controls. · Ensure all products meet required quality, presentation, and freshness standards. · Follow production plans and work instructions to achieve daily output targets. · Carry out visual quality checks and report any defects or concerns immediately. · Minimise waste by handling ingredients and products carefully and responsibly.
