The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for providing exceptional service to all teammates; this position remains the main point of contact for all teammates at the plant location. The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for following and implementing all HR functions, policies, and procedures. This position will support the Corporate Human Resources Department in all day-to-day operations including: recruitment, payroll, benefits, wellness, teammate relations, communication, safety, and all other duties as assigned. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Recruitment – Responsible for hiring, onboarding, and orientation of new teammates to ensure the facility is fully staffed - Advertise open positions appropriately - Source and screen qualified applicants - Schedules all pre-employment screening for candidates - Completes new hire onboarding and orientation - Track recruitment progress and costs for all plant staff openings - Payroll – Processes payroll for hourly teammates - Timely completion of all new hire documentation, including attachment in HR system - Weekly timecard review and submittal - Completion of status change forms and review of pay change to ensure the accurac...
