Employment Type: Part time Shift: 12 Hour Night Shift Description: This 30-bed intensive care unit provides care to patients with complex medical needs that require critical care modalities and interventions. 2 South ICU is staffed by intensivists, registered nurses, and health unit coordinators. Staff receive support from advanced practice nurses. General Summary: Using the Quality Caring Model, demonstrates acceptable performance and applies the nursing process to plan and manage the care of routine patients, including patient and family education and continuum of care planning. Effectively communicates fundamental patient/family information to health care team. Identifies and communicates variances from patient goals. Responsible for providing and coordinating interdisciplinary patient care utilizing the nursing process.
