Position Summary This internship is designed to allow college students and recent graduates to explore all facets of a career with Arkansas State Parks. Interns will assist with various projects in the areas of administration, maintenance, visitor services, interpretation, recreation, and natural resources. Location: Russellville, AR: Schedule: June 1, 2026 - August 14, 2026 Key Duties and Responsibilities: - Research, development, and implementation of a park specific presentation - Observational journaling (Journaling what is observed and learned) - Presenting Hospitality to the guests of Lake Dardanelle State Park - Maintenance of the facilities. Marginal Duties: - Facility Care - Animal Care - Landscaping - Reservation Management - Inventory Control - Resource Management - Trail Maintenance - Interpretive Programming - Equipment Maintenance - Shadowing Required Qualifications: - Be a full-time student in good standing at an Arkansas college/university at the time of application. - Be an Arkansas resident paying in-state tuition. - Have completed 60 hours of college credit by the time the internship begins. - Have declared a degree of study. - Maintain a 2.5 cumulative grade poi...
