Leads on-the-job training for all Behavioral Health (BHT) and Patient Safety Technician (PST) staff scheduled on the shift. Assists Technician Services Supervisor with the day-to-day supervision of staff by managing daily duty assignments and reassigning duties in accordance with the needs of the unit. Follows procedures for chain of custody for patient’s valuables placed in the safe; performing inventory checks every time the key for the safe changes hands. Works to improve or maintain safety at the CRF. Monitor, develop, and implement systems that will improve the responsibility, accountability, and integrity of BHT and PST; especially involving the care of patients and their belongings.
