Lead Clinician in Crisis Intervention operates as an adjunctive supervisory support for the Crisis Coordinator and Crisis team, providing clinical and operational support in coordination with the Service Line Manager. The Lead Clinician position is split role providing assistive supervisory support in conjunction with departmental leadership as well as providing direct clinical services to patients within an Affiliated Emergency Service. The Lead Clinician will conduct clinical assessments and care coordination for patients in the emergency department presenting with acute behavioral health needs. Additionally, the position will collaborate with departmental leadership on quality and performance improvement, clinical training/orientation, and program development for the Crisis service. Principal Accountabilities: 1. Provide assistive supervisory support to the Crisis team in coordination with departmental leadership, completing clinical guidance and review, chart audits, real-time clinical mitigation, and guidance. 2.
