Brand Protection Investigator

Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Brand Protection Investigator to join our global brand protection and investigations team. This role plays a critical part in safeguarding our company’s intellectual property, reputation, and consumer trust by identifying , investigating, and mitigating threats such as counterfeit parts, trademark infringements, illicit online sales, and gray-market distribution. You will conduct investigations across the supply chain, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and work closely with law enforcement and legal teams to protect our brands worldwide. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and investigate threats to company brands, including counterfeit automotive parts, illegal trademark use, gray market activities, and online fraud - Data Collection & Analysis: Gather intelligence from open-source platforms, internal data, e-commerce sites, and market surveillance to build actionable cases - Partner with internal stakeholders (Legal, Compliance, Supply Chain, Sales, and Security) and external partners (law enforcement, customs, industry coalitions) to drive enforcement actions - Support civil and criminal enforcement efforts, including coor...
