Your job is more than a job. The Cath Lab Inventory Coordinator coordinates the ordering, flow, and distribution of supplies for perioperative services. Maintains appropriate inventory levels to support excellent patient care while utilizing perpetual inventory procedures. Assists in procurement of special-order supplies and equipment. Performs the fundamental duties of the OR Materials Coordinator as ne GENERAL DUTIES: Maintains the perpetual inventory using the guidelines established by the organization. Coordinates supply flow between vendors and internal supply chain. Expedites backorders and locates appropriate substitutes when necessary. Communicates inventory issues to clinical staff and management. Creates daily supply requisitions and purchase orders based on requirements. Verifies order confirmations and pricing on a daily basis. Inspects incoming deliveries for accuracy and damage. Stocks supplies to appropriate locations. Works with vendors and internal stakeholders to correct pricing discrepancies.
