Pipe layer SUMMARY: Mortenson is currently seeking a Pipe Layer that will provide preparation, handling and supplying materials to be used each day. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Loading and unloading equipment - Lift, unload, move, and set material associated with utility installation - General cleanup and clearing of debris, including sweeping, cleaning, washing, and unloading of material - Placing, pushing, pulling, shoveling concrete, dirt, or pipe bedding - Vibrating concrete - Provides work direction and guidance to laborer - All other duties as assigned - All team members are expected to demonstrate the following characteristics: - Cooperate with others when in a team environment - Accept direction from supervisors - Follow work rules and procedures - Punctual and consistent attendance - Accept constructive feedback QUALIFICATIONS: Basic survey experience including the ability to shoot grade and calculate rise over run. - Equipment certifications as required - A minimum of one year of related experience - Must possess a valid driver’s license of proper class and necessary endorsements as required by law - Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements - Ability to work with tools and equipment,...
