POSITION SUMMARY : The Surgical Services Practice Manager is responsible for the management, direction, supervision, and coordination of all practice activities within a large and dynamic Ophthalmology practice, except those directly involving professional medical judgment. This individual is also responsible for the day-to-day operational, financial, human and other resource management, while providing leadership, advice, and counsel to supervisors and staff. The end result of such management should always aspire to meet the expectations of delivering high quality, efficient, and compliant patient care that is aligned with the company Policies and Mission. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: - Thoroughly understands, reviews and controls a smooth flow of all aspects of practice and practice operations. - Creates and implements goals and objectives for the facility. - Maintains regulatory standards and standards of conducts as it relates to coding and billing, all state and federal laws. - Monitors facility’s benchmarking, statistics, and financial reporting (i.e. accounts receivable, budget projections, wage percentage, operating expenses), recognizes trends and directs necessary changes....
