Position Title Registered Nurse, 3A/Cardiac IMCU Job Description Summary: 3A Cardiovascular Stepdown Unit : Join our dynamic, compassionate, and patient-centered team in a growing Magnet certified health system. Our state of the art brand new 21 bed Cardiovascular Stepdown unit is due to open in January 2025. We are looking for motivated nurses who are looking to professionally grow with us! 2 Cardiovascular Stepdown specializes in adult cardiovascular population including pre and post cardiac surgery patients, post structural heart procedures, post pacemaker/ICD placement. Post pulmonary and vascular procedures include but not limited to video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS), thoracotomy, fem-pop bypass; pericardial window, and endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR). Nursing skills include competence in basic dysrhythmia, ACLS, and good critical thinking skills.
