The actual location of this job is in Visp, Switzerland. The Senior Strategic Buyer Indirect IT/OT will be part of the Indirect Procurement team and reports to the Head of Indirect Procurement Categories: Technology, Professional Services & MRO. The successful candidate will collaborate effectively with the Global IT/OT Category manager and other Category Managers to deliver value and continuous improvement to assigned sites and their stakeholders. The role of this person is to partner with key stakeholders to ensure business continuity and verify that procurement activities meet specific site business needs. You will provide essential purchasing expertise in tendering, negotiation, and contracting while managing the delegated spend. The hired candidate will be responsible for driving savings initiatives by developing a pipeline of projects and realizing cost reductions with delegated suppliers. You will manage supplier relationships in liaison with delegated spend, overseeing an annual portfolio of up to 50 million.
