art-K is the UK’s largest private art education service, delivering fun, skill-based classes to over 8000 children each week. Our programme helps develop artistic skills, build confidence, and support mental well-being through inspiring projects taught by passionate educators. At our Horsham branch, the Art Teacher is responsible for delivering the classes and supporting running the studio, with time split across teaching and class preparation (75%), and administration and promotion (25%). Full training is provided in our teaching methods, with ongoing support from our central team and a national network of art teachers. Working Hours & Schedule: This is a part-time role with a fixed schedule during term time and adjusted hours during school holidays: Term Time: 33.5 Hours per week on the following schedule: Monday: 13:30 - 21:30 (8 hours with 30' paid break) Tuesday: 14:00 -18:00 (4 hours) Wednesday: 10:00 - 17:30 (7.5 hours with 30' paid break) Thursday: 12:30 - 21:00 (8.5 hours with 30' paid break) Sunday: 08:00 - 13:30 (5.5 hours) School Holidays (14 weeks/year): The same number of hours will be worked between Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, with the exact daily schedule varying bas...
