DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Reception of clients, notifying clients of appointments, retrieving clients from the waiting room for the RN or MD. Assembling charts, filing in charts, uploading documents to charts, faxing documents, and other clerical functions. Measuring vital signs, assisting an authorized practitioner, under the direct and personal supervision of said practitioner, to carry out a specific task, as a "second set of hands. Provide emergency first aid/CPR assistance when needed. Related duties as assigned. HOURS: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma required and a graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program. Experience working with homeless individuals with histories of mental illness and/or substance abuse preferred. Basic computer literacy required. CPR training certification or willingness to take training class in CPR. *Vaccination preferred but not required.
