Incumbents in this position will provide leadership and guidance to medical staff, develop and implement clinical protocols, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and collaborate with other departments to improve direct patient care and outcomes. Additionally, the incumbent may participate in strategic planning, budgeting, and quality improvement initiatives for systems of health care for persons in state custody.
