NorPower Job Description – General Foreman Job Title: General Foreman: Reporting to: Project Manager Role Purpose: The General Foreman will be responsible for overseeing all works on overhead line projects , liaising with NorPower project management personnel, foremen, sub-contractors, and SHEQ personnel, ensuring the highest standards of health & safety, environmental protection, and quality . The jobholder will work on-site full-time as part of an experienced construction team— setting to work and coordinating overhead line teams to meet project timelines. Travel to various site locations throughout the UK will be required. Responsibilities & Duties: Including but not limited to: Create and maintain a safe working environment , taking responsibility for the health & safety of yourself, colleagues, and others; actively promote the reporting of SAFEchecks to assist continual improvement. Lead by example and embed a positive culture , managing employees reporting to you to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and codes of practice.
