Reporting into the Drafting Manager, this position wil be based either in our Vancouver BC office on a hybrid schedule or Remotely in Canada. Drafters are a vital member of our engineering team and supports our project teams to deliver quality engineering documents. Responsibilities: - Creating drawings and diagrams under the direct supervision of an Engineer or Designer such as: 2D and 3D general arrangements, sections, elevations, bills of materials, cable, duct, and bolt schedules, electrical room layouts, equipment layouts, grounding layouts, panel layouts, single line schematics, AC/DC schematics, wiring drawings, overhead, crossings, and underground distribution design work. - Retrieving, entering, and updating design data within drawings - Checking drawings for conflicts and conformance with project CAD engineering standards Qualifications: - Diploma in Computer Aided Design technology from an accredited University/College or equivalent - Minimum 5-year drafting ex...
