Role: Patient Care Assistant Location: Oak Barn Veterinary Centre Job type: Permanent, full-time: Hours: 40 hours per week; weekends: fair-share of Saturday shifts (currently 1 in 4) Shifts: 7:30-16:00 and 10:30-19:00: Are you an animal lover with a passion for providing exceptional care We have an exciting opportunity for a Patient Care Assistant to join our friendly and welcoming team. We are looking for a forward-thinking individual who is looking to start off their journey in the veterinary industry or someone who has experience and is looking for a new challenge. Our nursing team are searching for someone to complement the team in providing excellent client and patient service whilst being able to adapt to a fast-paced environment. Duties would also include: - Assist with patient handling and restraint. Ensuring that all handling and restraint is carried out in a patient friendly approach to ensure no unnecessary stress or discomfort to the patient. - Cleaning, disinfection and preparation of patient accommodation.
