Speech Language Pathologist

Job description

We are looking for a talented Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the school year. This position would be working with grades 7-12 working 20-25 hours per week. Hourly Rate Range : $49.00-$65.00 per hour Responsibilities would include: - Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments to evaluate student needs. - Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and therapy plans. - Provide direct speech-language therapy services in one-on-one, small group, and classroom settings. - Address articulation, fluency, voice, receptive/expressive language, and social communication challenges. - Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams to support student progress. - Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with Michigan Department of Education (MDE) and IDEA guidelines. - Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and multidisciplinary team discussions. - Train and support teachers and staff on speech-language strategies and classroom accommodations.
