Office Engineer

RK&K is hiring an Office Engineer for our Virginia region which will be based out of our Fairfax office. As an Office Engineer you will assist construction managers and construction inspection staff at various stages throughout the project duration. This position has plenty of growth potential and the ability to work on some of our biggest and most challenging CM/CEI programs/projects. Essential Functions: - Assists Construction Managers and the team in preparation of contract documents - Develops inspection and testing plans based review of the plans, specifications, standards, and shop drawings. - Obtains daily schedule of contractor’s activities and assigns inspection and technician staff as required. - Provides daily inspection staffing/ schedule, writes a daily dairy summarizing a project area’s activities to include contractor’s work, inspections performed, and on-site materials testing performed. - Documents issues in a log and provides weekly updates (immediate if required) to upper management. - Makes determination of complaint and non-compliant work.
