Quality Control Manager | Batch Plant

Job description

This position serves as the Quality Control Engineer for the Batch Plant division for the business unit in which they are based. Responsibilities range from pre-construction project review, technical assistance with regards to quality issues involving submittals and RFI’s, quality control management and compliance in the region, technical assistance with regards to project quality issues, and coordination and communication with project teams and GC’s. Specific Responsibilities: - Contract/Scope/Specification review and interpretation - Pre-construction specification review - Pre-construction mix design review in conjunction with Corporate Quality Director, Materials specialists and suppliers - Project safety compliance - Regional project quality compliance - Periodic project visits and quality compliance reviews - Work with project teams to develop solutions to quality issues - Coordination with GC/Owner when necessary - Coordination with CSI Operations manager regarding manpower/resources - Support and manage project quality staff within assigned region Job Specific Competencies/behaviors: - Communicates well both verbally and in writing, creates accurate and punctual reports, del...
