Job Description Workday Job Profile: Sr. Assortment Planner Business/Posting Title: Sr. Assortment Planner, Merchandising Operations Grade: 9: Job Summary: The Senior Assortment Planner is a strategic contributor responsible for driving sales growth and inventory productivity through the development and management of optimized product assortments across assigned categories. This role leverages advanced analytics, deep understanding of customer and market trends, and strong cross ‑ functional collaboration to deliver assortments that maximize profitability, improve sell ‑ through , and support business objectives . Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the Senior Assortment Planner partners closely with Merchandising, Inventory, Supply Chain, and Channel teams to translate insights into actionable assortment strategies that balance customer demand, space constraints, and inventory efficiency.
