Machine Shop Manager

Job description

We’re seeking a Machine Shop Manager to lead daily shop operations, drive performance across multiple shifts, and ensure efficient, high-quality production in a precision machining environment. This individual will be responsible for managing machinists and machine operators, improving workflow, reducing scrap, supporting training and accountability, and helping the shop perform against operational and financial goals. The ideal candidate will bring strong aerospace machining knowledge, leadership experience, and the ability to keep a fast-paced shop organized and running effectively. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day machine shop operations across multiple shifts of machinists and machine operators. Oversee shop workflow, scheduling, and production priorities to ensure work is completed efficiently and on time. Lead, coach, and develop shop personnel through hands-on support, training, and performance management.
