This job supports company pharmacies to improve and optimize the steps necessary to get medications from a supplier to a patient. Focuses on inventory, purchasing, receiving, and distribution. Supports the system’s initiatives to implement new policies or modify existing procedures to minimize cost, reduce waste, increase accuracy, and improve safety through the pharmacy distribution process. Works closely with current staff and pharmacy buyers servicing the company's patient population. Works in an office atmosphere with periodic site visit to the pharmacies.
