Sr. Fresh Sales Specialist Location: Hernando, MS: Travel: Overnight Travel is Required: Department: Member Services: Make us your BEST Choice!: Responsible for the development and implementation of merchandising programs primarily for the produce departments of our member stores. Provides consultation with member stores concerning produce merchandising activities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Responsible for making regular planned calls to our member stores serving in a liaison capacity between the store and the warehouse. Responsible for interpreting departmental (Produce) financial and operating statements and advising members regarding strengths and weaknesses within the operation. Performs necessary analysis and planning to ensure that the produce merchandising objectives and priorities for assigned members are established and met within time limits. Assist in the development of produce case allocation programs, i.e., plan-o-grams etc. Assist in specialized situations such as aiding in ordering seasonal produce merchandise, handbills, continuity programs and special programs.
