Patient Financial Services Counselor: - Approved Salary: $23-$25/hr - Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am to 5pm Summary/Objective: The Patient Financial Services Counselor supports patients in navigating the financial aspects of healthcare, including insurance coverage, billing questions, payment plans, and financial assistance programs. Working closely with Patient Access and Patient Services teams, this role helps patients understand their financial options and access the coverage and resources needed to receive care. The Certified Applications Financial Counselor assists uninsured and underinsured patients in determining eligibility for MassHealth and other subsidized insurance programs, helping connect patients to affordable coverage.
