Job description

Position: Security Officer Department: Security: Reports To: Security Supervisor: Job Summary: Executes security duties to adequately protect the life and property of guests, team members, and Gaming Enterprise property. Duties and Responsibilities (specific areas of responsibility include but are not limited to): - Patrols assigned areas actively and continuously to provide overall asset protection of Gaming Enterprise property and guest/team member safety. - Provides greeting services at guest entry points and inspects packages as people enter and leave the building, as appropriate. - Checks identification of all guests who appear to be under the legal age to either gamble or consume alcoholic beverages. - Performs crowd control for events and assists with directing traffic and parking. - Conducts interviews with witnesses or victims and generates necessary written reports regarding security-related incidents such as theft, injury, or property damage. - Operates a two-way portable radio to coordinate and dispatch information to all other radio users. - Escorts people and/or property when necessary to ensure safe transport of Gaming Enterprise monies, gaming assets, and team membe...
