Psychiatric Rehabilitation Specialist Enhanced Supportive Housing for Young Adults The Psychiatric Rehabilitation Specialist provides recovery-oriented services and supports clients in developing and achieving goals related to independent living, social engagement, vocational pursuits, educational advancement, and wellness management. Duties include: - Engage clients in a respectful, strength-based, and culturally competent manner. With clients, assess client’s needs and strengths. Develop an individual recovery plan with the client. - Provide education and support in activities of daily living, including medication management, health, and safety. Facilitate referrals and linkages to a wide range of services, including behavioral health, medical care, education, vocational programs, legal assistance, and family services. Assist individuals in accessing basic needs such as food, clothing, household items, and transportation. - Identify any immediate crisis intervention needs and services.
