POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Corporate Counsel - Privacy and Data Security is responsible for managing and providing legal counseling and advice to the Company on privacy, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (AI) and other related legal matters. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides legal and professional support for legal and regulatory matters related to privacy, data security, and AI adoption and governance. Collaborates with the Data Privacy, Cybersecurity, and AI Governance teams to provide legal guidance supporting the development and maintenance the Company’s privacy compliance program. Negotiates, drafts, reviews, and modifies contracts and other legal documents, with a focus on privacy, AI, and information security. Reviews, drafts, and maintains company privacy policies, notices, and consents. Monitors statutes, regulations, case law, and other resources to stay up to date and advise legal and business stakeholders on new and changing privacy and cybersecurity regulations with a focus on compliance with U.S. and Canadian regulatory frameworks.
