Job Summary: Provides care to medically complex patients in collaboration with the physician in a specialized acute care setting. Works within scope and experience and works autonomously and has authority, responsibility, and accountability for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of wound, ostomy, and continence care program throughout the inpatient care areas. Serves as a resource for wound care management, including identification, assessment, treatment, and prevention.
