Job description

Job Summary: Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments. Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms. Performs any combination of the following tasks to maintain guestrooms, working areas, and the hotel premises in general in a clean and orderly manner. Responsibilities: In addition to general housekeeping, the housekeeper duties in the boutique hotel environment will include: Job Qualifications: General Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA’s) required Physical Demands: Physical, Mental and workplace Environment Conditions - Clean corridors, lobbies, stairways as well as guest rooms - Organize work schedule from the room status list, arrivals and departures - Distribute linen, towels and room supplies using wheeled carts or by hand - Make up beds and cots - Restock room supplies such as drinking glasses, soaps, shampoos, writing supplies, mini bar - Replace dirty linens with clean items - Inspect and turn mattresses regularly - Store all dirty laundry in line with company policy - Monitor guest laundry bags - Replace laundry bags and slips - Check all appliances in rooms are in working order - Realign furniture an...
