About the Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Technician to join our Highway Drainage Maintenance Section in the Environment & Preventative team at Leicestershire County Council. The successful applicant will join a motivated, friendly team of professionals working in the highway drainage team. The role incudes ordering works to maintain highway drainage assets, investigate, and resolve highway flooding issues, engaging with members of the public and stakeholders, working with contractors and operatives on site, and help support the delivery of the role of Leicestershire County Council as the Highway Authority, supporting the actions in Leicestershire’s Highways Maintenance Operational Plan and the Local Flood Risk Management Strategy.
