AC Corporation is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Journeyman to join our growing field team. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and enjoys working on a wide range of commercial and industrial HVAC projects. What You’ll Do: - Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal systems and HVAC components - Install ductwork, HVAC units, VAVs, reheat coils, fire dampers, air risers, and clean room systems - Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, specifications, and work orders - Select appropriate materials, gauges, and fabrication methods - Set up and operate shears, brakes, presses, and other fabrication equipment - Layout, cut, form, and finish materials using hand and power tools - Assemble components using welding, soldering, riveting, bolting, screwing, clipping, caulking, or bonding methods - Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy - Assist and provide direction to apprentices as needed - Follow all company safety policies and procedures What We’re Looking For: - Strong working knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and installation - Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication machinery - Ability to w...
