Pharmacy Technician - PRN | Miramont Behavioral Health | Middleton, Wisconsin Schedule: M-F only, No weekends, No Holidays Ideal Shift: 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM We offer Flexibility & Partial Days: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM PRN Schedule = 4 Shifts per month with full-time hours available through June **Pyxis Experience Preferred** The Pharmacy Technician provides support in carrying out the provision of pharmaceutical care including medication orders, billing, stock replacement and preparation of controlled drugs for pharmacist checking, filling patient medication bags or carts and delivering medication to units. Also includes purchasing, prepackaging medications, inventory control of all drug classes and automated dispensing cabinets equipment and inventory maintenance and discarding patient own medications. Roles and Responsibilities: · Fills Physician medication orders under the direction of the Pharmacist. · Picks up medications orders and delivers medications to units as required. · Orders and receives medications from vendors; places ID stickers on medications and puts medications on shelves. · Interprets medication labels to prepare and maintains records of transactions. · Prepares unit d...
