Facilities Mechanic - ( 26003122 ) Description The department of Laundry Services intends to hire a Facilities Mechanic at either the Facilities Mechanic I , Facilities Mechanic II , or Facilities Mechanic III classification based on the qualifications of the successful candidate. The Facilities Mechanic performs in the repairing, servicing, and maintaining of buildings and electrical, mechanical and plumbing equipment. These positions are not eligible for University sponsorship for employment authorization. Duties to Include: Follow and maintain the department’s preventive maintenance schedule Diagnose/Assists with equipment systems malfunctions and repair in accordance with manufacturer's specifications. Provide data entry support for the department’s preventative maintenance software system. Keep maintenance shop area and storage areas organized and all tools in proper working conditions.
