The successful candidate will join the Maintenance Directorate to support the Center Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering Contract (CMOE) located at NASA Langley Research Center. This position reports directly to the Work Control Center Manager. All work will be completed with a high level of quality, professionalism and full adherence to all safety policies and procedures. Responsible for the following crafts: - Mechanical - Crane Mechanic - Elevator Mechanic - Millwright - Rigging Key Responsibilities: - Developed detailed maintenance work plans and schedules to include labor, tools, materials, permits, and safety requirements. - Reviewed maintenance requests and created executable work orders for mechanical equipment such as pumps, elevators, roll up doors, filters, and rotating machinery. - Estimated job durations and labor requirements to support weekly scheduled maintenance and shutdown maintenance period activities. - Built weekly maintenance schedules that aligned with center priorities - Balance backlog, preventive maintenance,...
