Job description

Job Title: Engineer, Junior Job Summary: As a Junior Engineer at Linamar, you will assist in planning and designing complex manufacturing processes within an industrial plant. You will support the improvement of production methods, determine manufacturing capacity , and set production schedules, while collaborating closely with senior engineers and other technical staff. Responsibility: Ensure compliance with legislative requirements, including Global Operating System Plays, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, standards. Assist in tracking and optimizing facility performance indicators to balance customer, employee, and financial satisfaction. Participate in lean initiatives and maintain department 5S standards. Collaborate with manufacturing support staff to resolve tooling-related issues and investigate new manufacturing and tooling methods. Assist in defining plant layout and ergonomic requirements and participate in Advance Quality Planning (AQP) activities. Identify and resolve process scrap issues and support the implementation of changes in manufacturing processes.
