Grade 5 (Salaried) Position Description: The Research Technician II in the Department of Pediatrics conducts research and supports clinical islet cell isolation under the direction of the lab Director, providing quality of work and quality control; completeness of documentation and reporting; functionality of both research and GMP labs; maintaining appropriate inventory levels; and assuring all regulatory agency and Norton Healthcare standards are met or exceeded. This position will also perform laboratory procedures including design and execution of laboratory projects, collection of and accurate recording of procedures and results, and summarization of the findings for publication.
