Job Description Position: Pool Monitor - Estrella: Department: Hotel Operations Job Summary: Ensures guests enjoy an optimal experience while utilizing the pool facilities. Responsible for monitoring the swimming safety, and sanitation practice, rules and regulations. Attends to, and monitors the operation of the pool slide. Maintains area during idle time and reports any deficiencies back to management. Duties and Responsibilities (specific areas of responsibility include but are not limited to): - Attends to the pool slide during hours of operation. Ensures guest safety in compliance with hotel policy. - Maintains constant surveillance of guests in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure safety of guests. - Offers warm and sincere welcome/farewell to guests using a guest's name, when possible, and making good eye contact. - Engages guests in polite conversation. - Provides exceptional service during their stay by anticipating needs. - Sufficiently knowledgeable of hotel facilities and services in order to accurately respond to guest inquiries. - Functions as a supportive team member during shifts. - Performs housekeeping duties as assigned during non-peak perio...
