Role Overview Title: Equipment / Geologic Technician: Field Work Schedule: 10 – 12 hours a day, 14 days on/14 days off rotations Location: Mobilize out of the Salt Lake City metropolitan area, but field work will extend through the western United States. There is 2,300 times more energy in geothermal heat in the ground than in oil, gas, coal, and methane combined. However, historically it’s been hard to find and expensive to develop. At Zanskar, we’re using better technology to find and develop new geothermal resources in order to make geothermal power the most affordable form of widely-deployable, 24/7, carbon-free generation on the planet. Field data is Zanskar’s life blood; we rely on accurate and precise field measurements that are essential to guiding our exploration and development efforts.
