Truck drivers, at-will employees working under the direction of the Logistics Manager and Trucking Supervisor, are responsible for the safe delivery of ingredients, packaging, and finished goods from one location to another. Truck drivers hold a Commercial Drivers License with an A endorsement and have responsibility to safely operate and to maintain the company trucks. Truck drivers also load and unload trucks and document the movement of goods. All good Manufacturing Practices and general safety practices are observed. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.) Does a physical Pre-Shift Inspection by walking around the truck and inspecting the inside and the outside of the truck. If any malfunction or problem is found it is fixed and reported to the Trucking Supervisor. If any malfunction is found that cannot be immediately fixed, the truck is taken out for repair. 2.)
